The Students' Association: Pembroke Campus
At
the Pembroke Campus, the Students' Association has created
an environment built around student success. We provide
many services to our students including a dental and
health plan, emergency phone service, free transparencies
for presentations, and we work with the College to offer
student employment on campus.

One of our key mandates is to plan events
and sporting activities for students. These includes pubs such as Yuk Yuk's comedy nights, an annual student-staff
hockey game, live musical entertainment, and free student BBQ's.
When it comes to sports, we fund a varsity Loggersports team with our students competing in at
least two major events each year. We also offer an intermural
sports program that utilizes our new "Outdoor Sports
Court". Students can participate in ball hockey,
basketball, and badminton.
If you like hockey, the Students' Association
rents ice at a local arena one night a week and Mondays
are also a lot of fun during the fall and winter months
when students get to play whatever sport they want when
the S.A. rents a local gymnasium.
To make your experience at the Pembroke
Campus the best that it can be, we encourage you to
get involved with your Students' Association. We welcome
feedback and enjoy working with students to plan fun
activities. Whether it's providing funding to start a
club on campus, or studying in our Quiet Study Area,
the Students' Association invests in programs and facilities
that support students.

Theresa Lance is the Pembroke Campus Students’ Association Office Manager and Jennifer Allen is the Office Administrator. If you have any ideas or requests for activities, please speak to one of the S.A. representatives. They are working for you, the students, to help ensure your time here at Algonquin is enjoyable and rewarding. All services can be accessed through room 117. Stop by and find out what the S.A. can do for you.
