Welcome to e-Publishing!

A unique full-time program offered evenings and weekends.

This exciting one year graduate certificate program suits those looking for a career advantage in communication and writing fields such as journalism, advertising, freelance writing, business, project management, and more. As a result of the increase in online publishing, it will also appeal to those working in traditional publishing and print media industries.

Gain in-demand web design and technology skills for communication.

Program Eligibility:
This program is designed for students with previous post-secondary education (two year community college diploma or equivalent) OR individuals with at least 2 years related work experience maybe considered by submitting a detailed resumé. Experience in a Windows or Macintosh environment is highly recommended.

Employment Opportunities:
This program will prepare graduates with the skills and training to work in various industries such as: Design Firms, Online Newspapers and Magazines, Advertising Agencies, Government Departments, Publishing Bureaus and Educational Institutes. Employment opportunies may include: online document specialist, web site designer, online editor, web project manager, digital compositor, production administrator, content writer, dynamic programmer and electronic publisher. Graduates may also work on a self-employed basis to produce their own web-based and electronic publications.

Program Delivery:
The program is offered on Saturdays and weekday evenings over two semesters, each 15 weeks in length. The 21 course hours per week will be offered via a combination of in-class and online delivery. The program begins in September.

Fees & Admissions

Tuition Fee is $1,500.00 per term.

Laptop Program

Please note that e-Publishing is a laptop program. Students must purchase their own laptop computer and software. Computers and supplies can be purchased directly from the campus bookstore at educational discounted rates.
