Hire Me! Reaching Higher! Youth Employment Program in Pembroke-Next Intake in the summer 2012

This youth employment preparation program will begin in early July in Pembroke and will support ten youth between the ages of 15 to 30 who are looking for a job. Participants are paid an hourly rate to participate in four weeks of employment preparation workshops, receive several industry recognized safety certifications, and experience an 8-week paid job placement with a local employer.The program has been very beneficial for past participants. Official Opening of Summer Jobs Service office-April 20, 2012

Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski officially opened the Summer Jobs Service office at Algonquin College's Pembroke Campus.  This summer the program will support more than 150 employers and 400 high school, college and university students secure summer jobs in Renfrew County.
