Summer Jobs Service

If you're a student and you're looking for a summer job, the Summer Jobs Service can help. Whether you are a high school, college or university student, this program will support your efforts to find summer employment.

A summer job fair is held each spring and there are numerous job postings listed at the SJS office.

 

 

To Be Eligible for The Summer Jobs Program You Must Be:

- 15 to 30 years old

- Returning to school in the fall

- Eligible to work in Ontario

The Summer Jobs Service Program is open to students all year round.  You can access information on job searching, workshops and completing a resume on this website, or you can visit us at Algonquin College's Pembroke Campus or the Community Employment Services Resource Centre in downtown Pembroke.

Summer Jobs Services can also be accessed through any Employment Ontario Employment Services office in Renfrew County.  These organizations include ontrac in Arnprior; Employment Networks in Renfrew; PMFRC in Petawawa; and Rural Outreach Employment Services in Eganville and Barry's Bay. These partner agencies can assist students with resumes, cover letters, applications to the Summer Jobs Service program, and access to job postings for summer positions.
