The COME program leverages the considerable expertise of Algonquin College, LASI World Skills and the Association of Canadian Community Colleges of Canada’s (ACCC) Canadian Immigration Integration Project (CIIP) towards the development of a unique e-mentorship program. One Stop Support Participants receive one-stop-shop support, guidance and mentoring to address their individual settlement, learning and employment integration needs. Mentees select their destinations in Canada and then are matched with mentors, in a like profession, and linked with local settlement agencies to provide an individually tailored learning experience.
