Kathyrn Leroux has held a variety of positions in the hospitality industry with the majority of years spent in sales and marketing.  She currently serves as the Regional Director of Marketing at the Lone Star Group of Companies, a position which she has held since 2001. 

Kathyrn is involved in a number of community organizations and associations including the Canadian Marketing Association, the Downtown Rideau BIA, the Canadian Society of Association Executives, Meeting Planners International and the Ottawa Tourism and Convention Authority.  She has been involved in various fundraising campaigns including developing the “Do It for Dad” run for the Prostate Cancer Association and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre, and developing and assisting with successful fundraising initiatives for the Heart Institute and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. 

Kathryn was appointed to the Board of Governors for a two-year term effective September 1, 2011.
