Avoid Tickets
Top 10 tips to ensure you never receive a ticket:
1. You must have a valid parking permit to park at any Algonquin College campus. Please ensure you have the appropriate parking permit for that lot.
2. Never park in a reserved space unless you have a valid permit for that area, or have been assigned that space by Parking Services.
3. Never park in an accessible parking space unless you are displaying the proper Provincial accessible parking permit and an Algonquin accessible reserved space permit for the assigned space.
4. If using parking meters, ensure that there is ample time showing on the meter.
5. Pay and Display paper chits must be on the driver’s side dash face up and clearly visible at all times.
6. Upon entering any parking area, please read the posted signs at the entrance.
7. Visitors to Algonquin College may park in the Visitors’ parking lot, the Pay and Display lots or at any of the meters.
8. Please read the parking regulations (Link to rules and regulations) for your campus. This information will assist you and help you avoid getting parking tickets.
9. If you lend your vehicle to someone, make sure they know where to park. You are responsible for all tickets issued to your vehicle.
10. Never park in a Fire Route.
