HOW DO MEAL PLANS WORK?

Our Meal Plans work on a declining balance system using your Algonquin Student ID Card. When you purchase your Meal Plan, food dollars are deposited into your account. Once you have chosen your Meal Plan, you simply present your Algonquin Student ID Card to the cashier at any of our seven locations. The appropriate food dollars from your selected Meal Plan will be deducted from your account. You may ask the cashier for a receipt after any purchase to view the balance available on your Meal Plan.

Meal Plan Options

  • The Campus Plan
    Accepted at any location on campus, this plan can be set up with a $200 payment. You will save 5% on all purchases. You can add
    money to this plan anytime as required. Any unused monies will be forwarded to the next semester. Ideal for full or
    part-time students living off-campus.
  • Light Plan
    Designed for students around for most of the week and occasionally on weekends with average appetites. Valid for food purchases only. $940.00 per semester. Funds must be used prior to the end of the semester. Save up to 18% on your purchases.
  • Want More?
    Have a hearty appetite and plan on being on campus more often? We have Full and Plus Meal Plans for those with heartier appetites who are on campus more frequently. Taxes are applicable on all purchases.
